Adult Ministries

We welcome anyone to attend our Bible studies and take their faith to a deeper level. We hold our studies throughout the week and at different locations around our campus(es). Consider this your open invitation!

Adult Sunday School

Sunday school meets Sunday mornings from 9:20 to 10:20 a.m. in the church basement or sanctuary overflow. Check your church bulletin for an updated list of studies.

  • Pastor Hesse is currently walking us through the book of Joshua.
  • Larry Whitney’s class studies various books of the Bible and current topics.
  • Pastor Vanderhyde is leading a study of the book of John.

Wednesday Bible Studies & Prayer

We offer a variety of men and women’s Bible studies and small groups on Wednesday evenings. Please check the church bulletin for details.

Prayer Warriors
Join us in the church narthex at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesdays to pray for our country, our community, and the needs of our own members.

Parent Small Group
This group meets on Wednesdays at 5:00 p.m.

Outreach Bible Study
The outreach meets on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m., and it is cross-denominational and represents an array of age groups ranging from late 20s to over 80. The group is mostly discussion, however, nobody is ever put in a position where they have to read or they have to talk. We stay away from controversial doctrinal topics and politics. The focus is on salvation by grace, through faith. The goal is to grow in the knowledge of Jesus and to have the Peace of Christ. It is facilitated by Arni Burron.

The group currently meets at The Bridge Assisted Living (use 47th Avenue entrance, across from Lowe's). The meeting runs an hour or a little more.

Arni's number is (970) 371-2261. If interested, you may text him at that number to allow him to send information your way such as meeting changes.

Trinity Quilters
Our Quilters are a talented and dedicated group of people who love to sew and are looking for ways to give back to the community. We welcome new members and meet every Monday at Trinity Lutheran School. During our meetings, we teach beginners how to sew and have groups of hand quilters and long arm quilters working on projects. We love donating our quilts to people in need.

Stephen's Ministry

“Stephen ministers” augment our pastoral and elder care teams by meeting additional care needs of those in our congregation and community. This confidential service offers one-to-one Christian care to people going through hard times such as those grieving over the death of a loved one or divorce, or those experiencing job loss, relocation, chronic or terminal illness, spousal separation due to military deployment, and much more. Ministers meet with those in need of care to listen, read Scripture, and pray. They do not offer solutions or advice, whether legal, medical, or financial. Instead, they put God’s love into action to offer help, hope, and healing.

Please contact the church office if you are interested in learning more about the process of becoming a Stephen minister, or if you would like to request help from one of our current ministers.
